Why isn't a sign-up form enough?
The form collects the player's name and age, then the questions begin: Is there still a place in the five o'clock group? When is training? How much is the subscription? Where do I transfer the money? And every answer is a message you type by hand.
What does a parent see on your academy's website?
The parent opens the link and sees these sections in order:
- The academy's name, its type of activity and its city, and "Since" the founding year if you entered it.
- A card for each programme: for children or adults, boys, girls or mixed, the accepted ages, and the price per cycle (monthly, termly or a session pack).
- The programme's groups with their hours and the number of places left; when few remain it shows "Only 3 left", and when a group is full it shows "Full".
- The weekly timetable day by day, built automatically from your groups' times.
- A "Most popular" badge on the programme with the most places taken.
- About us, our coaches, photos, parents' reviews and frequently asked questions in the text you write.
- The contact section: a "Message us on WhatsApp" button that opens a chat with your academy's number, a "Find us on the map" button, and your Instagram, X, TikTok and Snapchat accounts.
Each programme also has its own page with its description and groups, whose link you can send on its own to anyone asking about it.
Player sign-ups from the same page
Next to every group with a place left is a "Register now" button. The parent signs in to their account and chooses their child; the system checks age, gender and capacity, then the parent completes payment and the number of places shown on the page goes down. That is how your sports academy's website becomes a site for player sign-ups, not just an introduction page.
Sign-ups open when your academy activates online payment. Until then the groups show "Registration opens soon", and your page is published for anyone you share the link with.

The timetable and places update from your dashboard
You don't edit the website line by line. From the "Programmes and groups" screen you add a programme with its name, description, category, gender, ages, price and payment cycle, then add groups to it, each with its days, a time for each day and a capacity. What you save appears on the website and in the timetable straight away.
- "Hide from the portal": stops new sign-ups to the programme, while its current subscribers stay and renew.
- "Stop" a group: it disappears from the website, with no new sign-ups and no renewals in it.
- Group capacity: never goes below the number enrolled in it.
And the coach finds the same groups on their phone on training day.
What do you write in "My public page"?
From the "My public page" button in the academy dashboard you fill in:
- An "About us" introduction and the founding year.
- A WhatsApp contact number and your Google Maps location link.
- Links to your accounts on Instagram, X, TikTok and Snapchat.
- A photo gallery with a short caption for each photo.
- The coaches with their names, photos and a short bio for each coach.
- Parents' reviews with the name of each reviewer, so write what they actually told you.
- Your frequently asked questions; once you add them they replace the ready-made questions.
At the top of the screen is a "Page completeness" gauge as a percentage, with what is still missing below it. Any section you haven't filled in doesn't appear on the website, so visitors never see an empty box.
The academy's website on Google
Your academy's page and each programme's page are open to search engines. Each page carries structured data that Google reads, describing your academy as a sports organisation with its name, activity, introduction, city, founding year and accounts. Your academy has its own sitemap, and every page has an Arabic and an English version.
Account, payment and academy dashboard pages are kept out of search, so parents' details don't appear in it.
A link in your academy's name, in Arabic and English
When you create the academy you choose an identifier in English letters, and your website address becomes your-academy.midmar.app. Put it on your Instagram account and send it in parents' chats. The "EN" button at the top of the website shows the interface in English, while what you wrote yourself, such as programme names and the introduction, stays as you wrote it.
At the bottom of every page are the details of the business that operates the platform, as e-commerce regulations require.
What doesn't the website offer today?
The website is for introducing the academy and signing up to it; it isn't a shop, a blog or a match news page. It works in the phone's browser with no app. The WhatsApp button opens a chat with your number, and the system doesn't send WhatsApp messages.
Questions about a sports academy website for player sign-ups
Do I need a designer or a coder?
No. You create the academy and its first programme and group from your phone and the link is ready, then you complete the rest of the page from your dashboard.
Does the number of places update by itself?
Yes. Every booking or subscription takes a place, and when a group is full it shows "Full" and sign-ups to it stop.
Does my academy's website appear on Google?
Your page and your programmes' pages are open to search engines in Arabic and English. The ranking is decided by the search engine, and we don't promise it.
How much does the website cost?
It is part of the free basic package, with no monthly fee. The fee is charged only on each successful payment, with the details on the pricing page.
Can I see a real website before I start?
Yes. The Al-Maydan demo football academy shows the programmes, timetable and places; you can enrol in it as a parent and pay through a test gateway that charges no money.
